Bird’s eye chilli, which is also called Thai chilli and piri piri is one of the hottest chilli peppers in the world. The Bird's eye chilli is used as a spice in both Asian and Indian cooking. It is a small chilli but has quite a lot of fire; it is rated as 50,000 to 100,000 in Scoville units.

100% Bird Eye Chilli
Dried Bird's eye chilli is heavily used in Indian cooking. To develop the flavour of dried chillies add them close to the start of cooking, this will allow the dried chilli to absorb some of the moisture and flavour of the dish, as well as releasing its fiery flavours. If you find that the chilli is too spicy for your taste then simply slice and remove the seeds of the chilli.
