Self-Raising

Self raising flour is made by combining flour with leavening agents. Flour with significant amount of gluten like wheat is used for preparing self raising flour. Usually baking powder and salt are added to wheat flour to make self raising flour. This is useful for baking dishes as the process during the baking causes small bubbles appear on the surface of the baked goods.
