A little salty and spicy bean sauce from Chinese company Wang Feng. This 500g bottle contains China’s favourite bean paste, Pixian Chilli Bean paste, colloquially called Doubanjiang, (or Toban Djan). Its recipe is based on a fermented combination of broad beans, soybeans, salt, rice, and various spices. Pixian Chilli Bean paste is originally from Pixian, a place in the Chinese province of Sichuan, and thus it is also called Sichuan bean paste. This product is remarkable for its unique flavour.
