Pa-Lo is a Chinese inspired Thai dish which makes use of a powdered mix of five spices. Although the spices and the number of spices vary at times, the method for cooking is the same. A variety of pa-lo dishes can be made using the five spice blend like chicken wings, stewed duck, etc to name a few. The pa-lo is cooked one day in advance for enhanced flavour and leave to marinate, giving a richer flavor to the meats.
