GREAT HARVEST Brown Sugar 400g

A 400g pack of brown sugar from the Chinese brand Great Harvest. It is made from unrefined cane sugar and is an essential ingredient in Chinese red-cooking techniques. They are the primary reason for the rich and deep flavour that the Chinese dishes usually possess. 

The brown sugar and the baked items prepared of it are normally moist. The reason is that molasses, which is the source ingredient of brown sugar, is hydroscopic in nature, and hence it can keep the moisture in its products.
