Recipes

1. Tteokbokki (Spicy Korean Rice Cakes)

Ingredients:

• 500g Korean rice cakes (tteok)
• 3 tablespoons CJ Haechandle Gochujang
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 2 cups water
• 1 green onion, chopped
• 1 hard-boiled egg (optional)
• 100g fish cakes (optional)

Instructions:

1. In a pot, combine gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil.
2. Add the rice cakes and cook until they become soft and the sauce thickens.
3. If using, add fish cakes and hard-boiled egg. Cook for another 5 minutes.
4. Garnish with chopped green onion before serving .

2. Bibimbap (Mixed Rice with Vegetables)

Ingredients:

• 2 cups cooked rice
• 1 cup assorted vegetables (spinach, carrots, zucchini, mushrooms)
• 100g ground beef
• 2 tablespoons CJ Haechandle Gochujang
• 1 tablespoon soy sauce
• 1 teaspoon sesame oil
• 1 egg, fried
• Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions:

1. Sauté the vegetables and ground beef separately with a bit of soy sauce and sesame oil.
2. In a bowl, place the cooked rice and arrange the sautéed vegetables and beef on top.
3. Add a spoonful of gochujang in the center and place the fried egg on top.

• 1 kg chicken wings
• ¼ cup CJ Haechandle Gochujang
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 2 tablespoons honey
• 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 teaspoon grated ginger

Instructions:

1. In a bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
2. Add the chicken wings and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
3. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the wings on a baking tray and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until fully cooked.
