Beksul is a Korean food manufacturing company engaged in the production of Asian sauces, seasoning oils, cooking mixes, sugar and flour. Beksul is a subsidiary of the South Korean conglomerate CJ Group. CJ is the short of ‘Cheil Jedang’, which means ‘first sugar producer’ in Korean language. CJ Beksul initially started as the producer of a sugar brand in 1960s. Now CJ Beksul is an influential brand in the Korean lifestyle and food culture. It has successfully expanded the Korean flavours to the western culture as well.
