Seaweed has been traditionally used as a food in Asian countries especially in China, Japan and Korea since very ancient time. In some parts of Ireland also seaweed was used as a food. This is a preserved version of seaweed from the Chinese food brand Guo Sheng. In this variety, edible seaweed has been pickled with sugar and sweeteners and made available for the customers in Ireland in a ready to eat form.
