Black Rice

Black rice is a variety of the common rice scientifically classified under ‘oryza sativa’. Black rice is tasty, nutritious and is notable for its pleasant aroma. There are glutinous (sticky rice) as well as non-glutinous black rice varieties. Black rice is also called purple rice.
