Sesame Seeds 芝麻

Sesame is an oilseed crop variety which has been long time in use. Sesame seed is a regular ingredient in several baked good especially as a topping. Sesame seeds often present in Japanese sushi dishes as sprinkled on top. Chinese cuisine makes use of them in their dim sum dishes, while roasted sesame flavor is a marinade ingredient for Korean meat and vegetables dishes. Sesame seeds are used to make sugar-rich snacks in India.
