    • Sweet Corn Kernels (Tinned) – 1 Tbsp
    • Green Peas ( Frozen) – 1 Tbsp
    • Chinese Chives (Gau Choi) – 5pcs/strips
    • 5” Spring Roll Pastry – 10pcs
    • Medium Sized Potatoes – 2pcs
    • Bacon – 3pcs
    • Salt – 1 tsp
    • Coarse Black Pepper – 1 tsp
    • Sunflower Oil – 750ml

Method

  • Step 1: Boil the Sweet Corn Kernels, Green Peas and Chinese Chives for 2-3 mins until it is cooked. Drain it and set aside.
  • Step 2: Wash and Peel the Potatoes. Steam it until it is cooked. Mash the Potato and set aside.
  • Step 3: Chop the Bacon into small pieces. Stir-fry the bacon pieces on medium low heat until it turns golden brown. Set Aside.
  • Step 4: Into the mashed potato, add the cooked bacon, Sweet Corn Kernels, Green Peas, Salt and Coarse Black Pepper and mix well.
  • Step 5: Put a Tbsp of the above mixture onto the centre of a Spring Roll Pastry. Pick a corner and its alternate corner, then pick the other two corners and fold it in to form a bag shape. Tie the top part with a piece of chive and cut away the excess unwanted chives.
  • Step 6: Prepare a wok with all the Sunflower Oil. Deep-fry the Flower Spring Roll on medium to low heat until it turns golden in colour. It’s ready to serve.
