How to use?	How to Use: Rinsing: Pour the desired amount of black eye beans into a colander and rinse them thoroughly under cold running water. This helps to remove any dust or debris. Soaking (Recommended): While not strictly essential, soaking black eye beans can help to reduce cooking time and promote more even cooking. Place the rinsed beans in a large bowl and cover them generously with cold water. Allow them to soak for at least 4-6 hours, or preferably overnight. Quick Soak (Alternative): If you're short on time, you can use a quick soak method. Bring the rinsed beans and plenty of water to a boil for 2 minutes. Then, remove from the heat, cover, and let them stand for 1 hour. Draining and Rinsing (Again): After soaking (using either method), drain the black eye beans completely and rinse them again under cold running water. Cooking: Stovetop: Transfer the soaked and rinsed beans to a saucepan and cover them with fresh cold water (about twice the volume of the beans). Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer gently for 45-60 minutes, or until the beans are tender. Cooking time may vary. You can test for doneness by gently pressing a bean between your fingers – it should be easily mashable. Pressure Cooker: Place the soaked and rinsed beans in the pressure cooker and cover them with fresh cold water (follow your pressure cooker's instructions for the appropriate water-to-bean ratio). Cook at high pressure for the time specified in your pressure cooker's manual (typically around 8-12 minutes). Allow the pressure to release naturally.
