Arrange Your Food: Place the food you want to steam on the steamer base. You can steam vegetables, dumplings, fish, and more. Make sure to leave some space between the pieces for the steam to circulate. Cover and Steam: Put the lid on the pot and bring the water to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to a simmer. Steam the food until it is cooked through. Cooking times will vary depending on what you’re steaming. Check Water Level: Keep an eye on the water level to ensure it doesn’t dry out.
