The Mipopo Fermented Rice Wine (500g), also known as Jiuniang or Lao Jiu, is a traditional Chinese sweet fermented rice specialty. Unlike clear cooking wines, this product contains the whole grains of glutinous rice, offering a porridge-like consistency with a refreshing, mildly alcoholic, and naturally sweet profile.
Rice Wine Soup with Tangyuan: Boil small glutinous rice balls (Tangyuan) in water. Once they float, add 2–3 tablespoons of Mipopo Fermented Rice Wine and a whisked egg for a classic "Gui Hua Jiu Niang" breakfast or dessert.
Chilled Topping: Enjoy it straight from the jar or as a topping over silken tofu, yogurt, or vanilla ice cream for a sophisticated twist.
Culinary Flavour Enhancer: Add a spoonful to braised meat dishes (like Red Braised Pork) or seafood stir-fries to neutralize "fishy" odors and add a subtle sweetness.
Traditional Wellness Drink: Mix with warm water and goji berries for a soothing, nourishing beverage often enjoyed in winter.
