Maharani Irish Gin (70cl / 700ml, 41% ABV) is a multi-award-winning premium gin from Rebel City Distillery, a tribute to the founders' fusion of Irish distilling craft and Indian heritage. Distilled in Cork, this unique spirit is zested with pomelo fruit and uniquely spiced with botanicals sourced from a women's organic farming co-operative in Kerala, India.

  • Nose: Citrus notes of pomelo are prominent, with an aromatic warmth from cardamom and cassia.
  • Palate: A creamy mouthfeel with a zesty citrus hint, balanced by the spice of nutmeg mace and a subdued juniper presence.
  • Finish: A long, dry finish with a lingering hint of nutmeg spice
The Story:
The name "Maharani" (meaning Queen) is a tribute to the strength and importance of Keralan women in society. It symbolizes a "liberation of spirit and spice," representing female empowerment and a cross-cultural connection. The botanicals are ethically sourced, supporting fair trade practices with the women's co-operative in Kerala.
