Little Sheep Special Seasoning For Stewed Beef & Mutton is a premium, ready-to-use liquid seasoning that brings the distinctive, aromatic "clear soup" flavour of the renowned Little Sheep hot pot restaurants to your home kitchen. It can enhance the taste of beef and lamb stews, delivering a rich, savoury broth base without an overpowering spicy kick.
Prep the Meat: Cut 500g–750g of beef or mutton into chunks. Blanch the meat in boiling water for 2–3 minutes to remove impurities, then drain.
Sauté: (Optional) Lightly sauté the meat with ginger and scallions in a pot until the edges are browned.
Simmer: Add enough water to cover the meat (approx. 800ml–1L) and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until the meat is nearly tender.
Season: Pour in the Little Sheep Special Seasoning. Stir well to incorporate the aromatic oils and bone-flavor base.
Finish: Continue simmering for another 15–20 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat. Add vegetables like carrots or potatoes during this final stage if desired.
For a Quick Clear-Broth Hot Pot
Boil Water: Bring 1.5L of water to a boil in your hot pot vessel.
Add Seasoning: Empty the entire 120g packet into the water.
Enhance: For the authentic Little Sheep experience, add 4–5 cloves of peeled garlic and 3–4 sections of fresh scallion (white parts) to the broth.
Cook: Once the broth is boiling and fragrant, start dipping your thinly sliced meats and vegetables.
