Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin Dragon Edition (70cl, 43% ABV) is a special, limited-release expression of the original award-winning gin, presented in a stunning, handmade ceramic bottle to celebrate the auspicious Chinese Year of the Dragon. This edition features the same distinct and beloved flavour profile of the original, known for its fusion of oriental botanicals and Irish ingredients, offering a bold and aromatic experience.

The Dragon Edition maintains the original's rich and complex flavour profile, characterized by its fresh citrus, juniper, and spicy notes.

• Nose: An enticing bouquet of fresh citrus, subtle juniper, and a hint of the earthy, smoky aroma from the signature gunpowder tea.
• Palate: The palate is smooth and well-balanced, with lively notes of grapefruit, lemon, and lime, followed by oriental spices and the unique character of the gunpowder tea.
• Finish: A long, dry, and refreshing finish with a lingering hint of spice and a pleasant return of green tea.

The Story
Crafted by PJ Rigney, the founder of The Shed Distillery, this gin represents a "curious journey" that blends botanicals sourced from around the world, including China, India, and right in Drumshanbo, Ireland. The inclusion of Chinese gunpowder green tea, from which the gin takes its name, gives it a unique, slightly spicy character. This Dragon Edition bottle commemorates the 2024 Lunar New Year, symbolising luck, prosperity, and the bold energy of the dragon.
